What Makes a Person Wise?

What Makes a Person Wise?

One could hardly call themselves wise when, in reality, we only live to be a hundred years old or less. So, if you’re just here for a hundred years, where did you get all your wisdom? Because you only had 100 years to acquire it.

Now, don’t get me wrong, Solomon was the wisest man to ever be. Note it says the wisest man, meaning in the flesh.

  • In Hebrews 13:2, it says, “Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unaware.” Let me explain this to you. Angels are spirit beings, and they would not be in the flesh because they would be wiser than Solomon, I am sure. Angels are thousands upon thousands upon thousands of years old, and maybe older than that, which means they would have acquired a lot of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding over all those years.

So, if you think that you’re wise, you could be talking to someone that’s wiser than you because angels look like us, or else you would be aware that you were talking to one, as it states in Hebrews 13:2.

Back to angels being spirit beings. When you think of a spirit, you think of a ghost like the Holy Ghost. You cannot see it, but sometimes you can feel the energy that it’s there. I do not have words to describe how an angel can appear as a man but not be in the flesh.

Somehow, they can be in the invisible realm and the visible realm anytime they like.

And we know angels can enter your body and take control of your body because that’s what a demon is. A demon is a fallen angel, which means they are an angel, just a bad angel. So, good angels could do the same thing to protect you. Have you ever felt like something overtook your body and protected you? It could have been a good angel from heaven.

Just sharing what little wisdom, knowledge, and understanding I have. I don’t claim to be wise, but I do have some wisdom. Like it says in Proverbs 27:17, “Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.” This means we learn from one another.

So, don’t ever feel like you don’t have anything to share because you think everybody else already knows. There’s nobody on planet Earth except angels that know more than we do and have seen heaven. Be careful with some that call themselves wise, as you should already know the world is full of liars. God hates a lying tongue (Proverbs 6:16-19).

What Makes a Person Wise?

  • Romans 1:22 "Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools".

  • This verse is part of a larger passage where Paul discusses the consequences of turning away from God and relying on human wisdom instead. It’s a powerful reminder of the importance of humility and seeking true wisdom from God.
