A poignant example comes from the book of Genesis, where three mysterious strangers visited Abraham. These celestial visitors, later revealed as angels, brought news of a promised sun and the impending destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. This encounter illustrates the biblical belief that angels can assume human form and engage with us in our daily lives. Fast forward to the New Testament, where angels played an integral role in the narrative of Jesus' life. Remember the annunciation? The angel Gabriel visited Mary, a humble girl from Nazareth, to announce that she would bear the Son of God.
