And there will be a time of distress such as never occurred since there was a nation until that time; and at that time your people, everyone who is found written in the book, will be rescued."5 Michael is portrayed as the great prince who protects God’s people during times of trouble.


  1. Jude 1:9: "But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not himself dare to condemn him for slander but said, ‘The Lord rebuke you!’"5 This verse provides insight into Michael’s role in a dispute with the devil over the body of Moses, showing his reverence for God’s authority.
