Report from Archbishop and Pastor Amin Gill of Jehovah Saints Church, Punjab, Pakistan
On the evening of Friday, March 7th, I had the privilege of leading a worship service at Village 297 JB, within my pastoral area. During this gathering, I shared a message on the profound teachings of Jesus Christ regarding forgiveness, as recorded in the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 18, verses 15 to 22.

Key Teachings from Matthew 18:15-22
Reconciliation with a Brother or Sister:
Jesus emphasizes the importance of addressing conflicts directly and privately:
“If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over.” (Matthew 18:15)
The Process of Resolution:
If reconciliation fails, Jesus outlines a process involving witnesses and, if necessary, the broader community of believers.
“But if they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’” (Matthew 18:16)
The Call to Forgiveness:
Peter asked Jesus how many times we should forgive someone who sins against us. Jesus replied,
“I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.” (Matthew 18:22)
This teaching underscores the boundless nature of forgiveness expected of Christ’s followers.
Reflection
During the worship service, I encouraged the congregation to embrace Jesus' call to forgiveness, which fosters healing and unity within the body of Christ. Forgiveness is not only a command but also a reflection of God’s grace toward us.
Amen.
