Message from Archbishop Samuel Macokebe of Jehovah Saints Tanzania

Archbishop Samuel Macokebe shared several photos and his sermon with me. His sermon was based on Matthew 8:20, which states:

"And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head."

This scripture highlights the humility and sacrifice of Jesus, who, despite being the Son of God, lived without earthly possessions or a permanent home. It serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of selflessness and dedication to God's mission.

Call to Action for Leaders

I encourage our leaders to open their doors and hearts to those in need. When we approach them, they should be ready to support us in fulfilling the gospel and God's vision. Just as Jesus lived without a place to rest, we must be willing to extend our resources and hospitality to advance His teachings and reach out to those in need.

Supporting Scriptures

  • Matthew 25:35-40: This passage emphasizes the importance of serving others, as serving those in need is akin to serving Jesus Himself.

  • Hebrews 13:2: "Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it."

Let us work together to embody these teachings and make a positive impact in our communities.

Conclusion: Join Us in Bringing Hope to the Homeless

At Jehovah Saints, we are committed to being the hands and feet of Christ by providing safe shelters, warm meals, and hope to those in need. With your support, we can expand this mission and provide a place of refuge for countless individuals and families who are struggling.
