Jehovah Saints Pastor Shahid Saleem’s Bible Class Students Launch a Theological Seminary in Faisalabad, Pakistan
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” – Matthew 28:19
It is with great joy and gratitude to God that we share an inspiring story of faith, dedication, and a commitment to spreading the Word of God. Pastor Shahid Saleem’s Bible class students, after years of studying and growing in their understanding of Scripture, have taken a bold step in their ministry journey. Together with Pastor Saleem, they are launching a theological seminary in Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan. This seminary will include a residential course, providing in-depth biblical education and training for students who are called to serve the Lord.
A Vision Rooted in the Great Commission
The vision for this theological seminary is deeply rooted in the Great Commission, where Jesus commands His followers to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19). Pastor Shahid Saleem has been faithfully teaching the Bible to his students, equipping them with the tools to understand, interpret, and teach the Word of God. Over time, it became evident that God was calling them to expand their ministry by creating a space where others could be trained for service in the Kingdom.
This seminary will not only serve the local community in Faisalabad but will also have a far-reaching impact on believers throughout Punjab and beyond. By offering a residential course, students will have the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in theological studies, prayer, and fellowship, preparing them for a lifetime of ministry.
Why a Theological Seminary in Faisalabad?
Faisalabad, located in the heart of Punjab, is one of Pakistan’s largest cities and a hub of cultural and religious diversity. The city is home to a growing Christian community that is eager to learn more about their faith and serve as witnesses for Christ in their communities. However, access to formal theological education has been limited for many aspiring pastors, evangelists, and ministry leaders in the region.
The establishment of this seminary is a response to this need. It will provide a platform for students to grow in their knowledge of the Bible, deepen their relationship with God, and develop practical skills for ministry. As Paul wrote to Timothy, “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15). This seminary will equip students to do just that.
The Residential Course: A Unique Opportunity
One of the key features of this seminary is the residential course, which will allow students to live on campus and fully dedicate themselves to their studies. This immersive environment will foster spiritual growth, community building, and a deeper understanding of God’s Word.
The curriculum will include:
Biblical Studies: Understanding the Old and New Testaments in depth.
Theology: Exploring the core doctrines of the Christian faith.
Practical Ministry Training: Preparing students for real-world ministry, including preaching, teaching, and pastoral care.
Mission and Evangelism: Learning how to share the Gospel effectively in diverse contexts.
As Jesus said, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest” (Luke 10:2). This seminary is an answer to that prayer, raising up laborers for the harvest in Pakistan and beyond.
A Journey of Faith and Dedication
The establishment of this seminary is a testimony to the power of faith and God’s provision. Pastor Shahid Saleem and his students have worked tirelessly to turn this vision into reality. They have faced challenges with courage and perseverance, trusting in the promise of Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
This seminary is not just a building or an institution—it is a ministry that will transform lives, strengthen churches, and advance the Gospel in Pakistan.

Looking Ahead
As this theological seminary begins its journey, we are reminded of the words of the Apostle Paul: “And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others” (2 Timothy 2:2).
This seminary is a fulfillment of that call, training reliable men and women who will carry the torch of the Gospel to future generations. We are excited to see how God will use this ministry to impact Faisalabad, Punjab, and beyond.
To God be the glory for this incredible step forward in ministry!
