Jehovah Saints Church – Democratic Republic of Congo

Official Press Release No. 001/DRC of April 9, 2025

Greetings to All Jehovah Saints Leaders and Members Worldwide,

We bring you an important update from Pastor Léonard Nyakamaga, National President of Jehovah Saints Church in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

A Call for Evangelism and Support

Pastor Léonard reports: "I pray that we can find the necessary tools to help with evangelism. Our desire is that our entire nation hears about Jehovah Saints and the message of salvation through Jesus Christ."

He shared photos of the challenges faced by the congregation, including the devastating loss of their church building, which was washed away by rainwater. Despite this setback, the church remains steadfast in its mission to spread the gospel and serve the vulnerable.

Pastor Léonard also shared images of his efforts to provide food to those in need, saying: "May the Lord help us with this. With Jehovah Saints, I have hope that things will get better with Jesus Christ."

Upcoming Baptism Celebration – April 17, 2025

As part of the church’s growth and commitment to fulfilling the Great Commission, Pastor Léonard joyfully announces: "On April 17, 2025, we will baptize more than seven new converts who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. This is truly good news for us, the Jehovah Saints."

This milestone reflects the power of God’s Word and the dedication of the church to share the gospel.

  • “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” – Matthew 28:19-20

A Request for Prayer and Teaching Resources

Pastor Léonard humbly asks for your continued prayers and support, saying: "I ask you to keep us in your prayers. We are confident that Jehovah Saints will continue to grow and reach every corner of our country. If you have modules or resources for teaching about Jehovah Saints, please send them to us. They will be a great blessing."

Let us unite in prayer and action to support our brothers and sisters in the DRC as they advance the mission of Jehovah Saints.

  • “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” – Galatians 6:9

  • “And I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding.” – Jeremiah 3:15

Encouragement and Hope in Christ

Despite the challenges faced, Pastor Léonard remains hopeful, declaring: "With Jehovah Saints, I have hope that it will be better with Jesus Christ."

As we reflect on this, let us remember:

  • “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” – Psalm 34:18

  • “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11

A Message from Pastor Léonard Nyakamaga

"Thank you very much for your prayers and support. Together, we will continue to make Jehovah Saints known throughout the world. May the Lord bless you all."
