We are honored to introduce President and Pastor Léonard Nyakamaga as the leader of the Jehovah Saints Church in the Republic of the Congo.
Pastor Léonard has shared with us touching images of the orphaned children and widowed women that the church cares for. These inspiring photos remind us of the church’s vital role in serving those in need and upholding Jehovah’s command to care for the vulnerable.

Additionally, Pastor Léonard sent joyful photos of a wedding celebration for one of their brothers, which took place on November 30, 2024. This beautiful union was a testament to God’s blessings and the love shared within the community.
However, after this joyous occasion, tragedy struck. Heavy rains washed away their church building along with all its materials. Despite this loss, the congregation remains steadfast in their faith, trusting that Jehovah will provide and restore what has been lost.

Scriptural Encouragement
“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” – James 1:27
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” – Psalm 34:18
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” – Romans 8:28
“The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.” – Matthew 7:25
A Call to Support and Prayer
Let us come together as a global church family to support Pastor Léonard and the Jehovah Saints Church in the Republic of the Congo during this challenging time. May we pray fervently for the restoration of their church and for strength and provision for the congregation.
Prayer for the Church
Heavenly Father, we lift up Pastor Léonard, the orphaned children, widowed women, and the entire congregation in the Republic of the Congo. May You be their refuge and strength, a very present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). Restore their church and provide for their needs, Lord, as You are the God who makes all things new (Revelation 21:5). May their faith remain strong and unwavering, and may Your glory shine through their perseverance.
Jehovah Be With You All
As we stand united in faith and love, may we continue to serve Jehovah with joy and dedication, trusting Him to lead us through every challenge and blessing.
