The Mission in Pakistan

1. God’s Call to Help the Poor

The Bible consistently calls us to care for the poor and meet their needs:

Proverbs 22:9:

“The generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor.”

Matthew 25:35:

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in.”

When we feed the hungry, we are serving Christ Himself.

2. Giving with a Cheerful Heart

God blesses those who give generously and joyfully:

2 Corinthians 9:7:

“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

Luke 6:38:

“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”

“Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted. He did the same with the fish. When they had all had enough to eat, He said to His disciples, ‘Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted.’”
