This Non-Discrimination Policy reflects our dedication to treating all individuals with dignity and ensuring equal access to our resources and opportunities.

Jehovah Saints does not discriminate against any individual based on:

This policy applies to all shelter residents, program participants, employees, volunteers, donors, contractors, and community members engaging with Jehovah Saints.

Scope

This policy is applicable to all areas of Jehovah Saints’ operations, including but not limited to:

  1. Programs and Services:

    • All individuals seeking assistance through Jehovah Saints’ homeless shelters, outreach programs, or other services will be treated with fairness and respect, regardless of their background or circumstances.

  2. Employment and Volunteering:

    • Jehovah Saints is an equal opportunity employer and volunteer organization. Hiring, promotion, training, and all other employment or volunteer decisions will be made based on qualifications, merit, and organizational needs, without discrimination.

  3. Community Interactions:

    • Jehovah Saints is committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone who interacts with our organization, including donors, partners, and community members.

Religious and Spiritual Context

As a faith-based organization, Jehovah Saints incorporates spiritual principles into its mission and services. While we may offer faith-based programs, participation in spiritual activities is always voluntary, and we respect the diverse beliefs and practices of those we serve, employ, or partner with.

Reporting Discrimination

Jehovah Saints encourages anyone who believes they have experienced or witnessed discrimination within the organization to report it promptly. Reports can be made to:

  • A supervisor, manager, or program director.

  • The Human Resources Department (for staff or volunteers).

No Retaliation

Jehovah Saints strictly prohibits retaliation against anyone who, in good faith, reports discrimination or participates in an investigation. Retaliation is a serious violation of this policy and will result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment or removal from volunteer roles.

Policy Enforcement

Any individual found to have engaged in discriminatory behavior will be subject to corrective action, which may include counseling, training, or termination of employment, volunteer status, or program participation.

Policy Review

This Non-Discrimination Policy will be reviewed annually to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and alignment with best practices for inclusivity and equity.
