Purpose

Jehovah Saints Homeless Shelters are faith-based organizations rooted in Christian principles, committed to serving individuals in need with compassion, dignity, and respect. This Faith-Based Policy outlines how faith informs our mission, services, and interactions while ensuring inclusivity and respect for individuals of all beliefs or backgrounds.

Policy Statement

Jehovah Saints Homeless Shelters operate from a foundation of Christian faith, emphasizing love, service, and hope. While our programs and services are inspired by our faith, we are committed to welcoming and supporting individuals of all faiths, as well as those who do not identify with any faith tradition.

1. Faith as the Foundation of Service

   • Our mission is guided by Christian values such as compassion, humility, and service to others.

   • We strive to create an environment that reflects these values in all interactions, programs, and services.

2. Inclusivity and Non-Discrimination

   • No guest will ever be pressured or required to participate in religious activities to access shelter services or support.

   • Proselytizing or pressuring guests to adopt specific beliefs is strictly prohibited.

6. Partnerships and Collaborations

   • Jehovah Saints Homeless Shelters may collaborate with other faith-based or secular organizations to enhance the services provided, maintaining alignment with our mission and values.

• Daily Practices: Our shelters may incorporate faith-based elements into daily routines, such as offering a prayer before meals or providing access to spiritual resources for those who seek them.
